Well, I over-balanced and FELL on the floor ~splat~.
My leg hurts, my ankle hurts, my BACK hurts, both wrists hurt but...
Lucky I didn't break anything.
Thank God for thick carpeting (usually i'm cursing it in favor of hardwood floors).
Parenthood is NOT for the faint of heart!

Ouch! Hope you feel better!
Ouch.....sounds like something I would do
Hope you feel better and it's time to change the story. One where it does not involve the possibility of getting hurt.
Bella- Actually i'm feeling worse and bruises are forming but I will LIVE!
Cheeky- Ha! Yeah I can see it happening to you, too!
Man- Thank you, no i'll leave up to her 6 ft Dad to put the elf up in stead of 5 ft Mom!
Oh, damn. Be careful!
Oh, ouch. I'm sorry, Patti. Yes, let the tall person do it now. Swift healing, dear girl.
Ouch is right!
Hope you are feeling better.
The elf curse is upon thee. You must have been naughty. Good for you!
BUT that's such a cute idea!!!!!!!! I'm LOL instead of hoping you get better, where are my manners...but I do hope you heal soon!
Chickie- Too late for THAT! LOL
Lynilu- I shall, thank you!!!
Mike- Thanks and I am going to go back and read that post AGAIN tomorrow. Cracks me right up!
Grant- I don't mind the curse but damn did he have to HURT me?!!!
BEM- Thank you and laughing is allowed. I did my share!
Careful, girlfriend. Broken bones are NOOOO fun.
~hippo hugs~
You're not the only one...I was
dusting and got on the step stool
to get the top of the entertainment
center and was on the top step...
Yeah...I took a double dose of
stupid that day.....
Hope your back feels better :)
HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Humans are part elastic until around age 10. After that? Falling down hurts!
Hope you get past this quick!
OWWEEEE!!!! Hope you didn't hurt anything TOO bad.
Big OUCH. I've done those things myself. I was walking down our stairs and splat, face down on the hardwoods--I was praying for carpet.
Bless your heart! What we do for our children! LOL! Neat idea! Our fairy would be give out telling Santa on David. That obstinate child of mine, (that takes after his Dad), is the worst, the closer to Christmas it gets! LOL!
Cute float! You did a mighty fine job holding down the tree! :) ~hugs, Rhonda
Oh, I am glad you didn't break anything. I'm always doing this - putting myself in dangerous and stupid situations - it's a wonder we don't kill ourselves. I love the elf idea - too cute!
Take care - Kellan
Ouch is right.
Parenting is a tough job and you have to be tough.
Thick carpet helps too.
Next time wear a parachute.
Pam- I know, broke my left leg 10 years ago!
Laurie- If we lived closer we could share a hospital room eventually hehe...
Miss Hope- I will, thank you!
Daisy- I will live :)
MJ- Yeah cos' a hardwood floor would have made it ug-lee!!!
Rhonda- Thank you, mine is acting up quite a bit lately too.. hmmmm testing Santa???
Kellan- I'm surprised you don't have an elf too! :)
Walker- Parachute is a GREAT idea!
Glad that you didn't break anything either. I think you better tell Maddie that the elf died of old age and you won't have to deal with it anymore. ;-)
Sorry you took a fall like that, but I think the little Elf thing is such a cute idea!!!
