Okay given my cheerful disposition and post yesterday I am giving myself an even BIGGER pat on the back. I had a back molar broken off and had to go to the dentist and he had to CUT it out of my gum. He is so good though. He gives me something for nerves before he even swabs the gum area to give me the shots to deaden for the extraction. He has a very slow soothing way about him also. Two big thumbs up to Dr. Herbert. (okay see if i'm still saying that when the novocain wears off because I am posting this after I just got home).Seriously and another good thing - Percocet! La~la land here I come just as soon as Stacy & Madison get home and the novocain has completely wore off.
Also can I get a big thumbs DOWN for my stupid freaking camera. This is the THIRD time i've put replacement batteries in it... and I still don't think i've got the right ones. I don't know what the hell to do. I missed a LOT of FUG at the racetrack last Friday night thanks to the !@#$%^ camera! Also i'm dying to show you my poppy red entranceway! All in good time I suppose....

I like my dentist too...and liking your dentist means A LOT when they're in your mouth with drills and needles, right??? YIKES!
Nobody could hate the dentist more than I do. I don't really hate my dentist. I am just the biggest baby when it comes to anyone being in my mouth with a drill. My dentist knows to give me an elephant sized dose of novacaine before starting any procedure.
That would tick me off about the camera too. I dont really like my camera. I can not get a good picture with it. I think its me because Man can use the damn thing. I have never ever had a problem taking pictures with any other camera though.

There's some rechargeable batteries that are for cameras. They're a little more expensive than the regular rechargeables but they last longer. I think I got mine at Walmart. You just need to sit there and read all the packages to see which ones say they are good for digital cameras.
What does he do to relax you? Shot of bourbon?
One of my back teeth just broke off (only about .10 of it) but it still is about to hurt.
I have a dentist on Thursday, we will see what they do for it, or if I have to come back. (probably)

How are you and your mouth feeling this morning Patti ? I'm not fond of trips tp the dentist, and anything needing drugs afterwards usually means it was an ouch !

I hate the dentist as much as the next person. Mine is a tiny Polish woman you has to stand on my chest with one foot planted on my foreheadthe other under my belt buckle (just watch out if she is wearing sandles because she is a little grabby) and two hands pulling to get a tooth out.
I love poppies especially the giant red ones.

Oh, I am sorry to hear about your trip to the dentist. It really makes all the difference when you like and trust your dentist. I have been to a couple dentist that I swear on the FBI's most wanted list. :)

Dentists. Not my favorite topic. Except for my nephew in GA. But not the dentist part of him!
But cameras ..... I don't know what kind you have, Patti, but you might be better off to simply look into a new one. Not always terribly expensive, and easier than having a conniption fit !!!! Or take it to a camera shop for diagnosis. However, that can wind up costing you as much as a new one. I'm eager to see the entryway!!

I love my dentist...that's why I took his cat when they wanted to get rid of her. I had a molar cut out, too, with stitches. Took no pain meds at all, just an antibiotic. I don't mind going to him at all....he used to be our neighbor when we lived in that town, so I drive about 40 miles one way just to go to him! Hope you heal quickly!

I'd almost rather give birth than go to the dentist to have work done. Almost. Yay for percocet! My hubby had some of that with his surgery and he got so loopy and silly. We had a good time picking on him.
Ok you know how I feel about the dentist.

We were just talking about teeth the other night and some people were floored that I still had all 32 teeth. How many different kinds of batteries can there be for a camera? ;-) Bring your owner's manual with you....if you still "own" it.
