Holidays
Yesterday I wrote about Valentines Day (which is tomorrow). As you all know I love holidays. I am sort of sad that Easter comes early this year. Next month St. Patrick's Day is on March 17th (as always) and then on March 23rd (less than a week later) comees Easter. I am not even putting out my holiday flags, just keeping my SC State Flag flying until it gets warm enough to put up my summer "Flip Flop" themed one. I already have most of my Valentines purchases. I still need to get two more things to complete my list. Then it's on to Easter! I like to buy early because if you don't all the good stuff is gone. Maddie is excited about her Valentines Party at school tomorrow. I will (probably) make treat bags for work and Stacy's work and the kids in Madison's dance class. Stacy is cooking me dinner tonight - cube steak, gravy and mashed potatoes. Something we haven't had in awhile. I'm sure it will be yummy!

For this week-end i'm trying to plan what I want to do. I hope my sometimes unreliable niece can get us a room reserved (she works for the Hilton Chain) as it will be a busy week-end in Charleston and I asked her last week. As I said she's unreliable but I guess I will call her tonight and check. I am not sure where I want us to eat dinner at (the "dress up" dinner). Maybe California Dreaming ... there is a thrift shop on King Street i'd like to visit. Strangely enough I don't think I care about going to the Market. Been there done that and it's always the same. Oh well i've got time to think about it! Enough rambling here. I'm done for now.
Oh and I had some "issues" with my blogroll so if you disappeared off of it and want back on let me know.

OK its pricey but well worth it honey - go to High Cotton! Have the creme brulee for dessert! To die for!!!!

Magnolia's or S.N.O.B. are good too or if you really want to spend some cash go to McCrady's or Wentworth or the Charleston Grill!

AND I was FIRST BISHES!

I hope your Valentine's Day is full of sweet, sweet love! :)

Ah damn...I am so jealous. I sometimes wish The PK and I would do something...hell, ANYTHING, for V Day. We don't even do the card thing.

Well, I hope you DO get a room and have a terrific V Day!

I, however, will be bashing V Day on my blog. ;)

I don't like that Easter is coming so early this year either.

What ever you decide for the weekend, enjoy and have a great time.

There are to many holidays.
Pretty soon there won't be any work days only holidays.
Just think, one day the might have a Work Day as a holiday.

I am sure you will have a Happy Valetines Day getaway.

It seems weird that Easter is so early. I'm just happy that the boys are at our house this year on that day so I get to hide things!

I'm glad I have you to keep me updated on these holiday things. I didn't realize Easter was so soon this year!

Hope your dinner tonight is yummy!

Cheeky- Hmmm I forgot about High Cotton. Thanks for the info sweetie!

Jessica- Awww thanks! :)

Stacy PQ- It's time to rebel! Tell him you want a token of his affection this year

Daisy- It just bugs me for some reason. I need to get my easter egg tree up next week I guess.

SFG- Bwaaa haaaa i'm lapsed so no Lent for me!

Walker- I know but i'm still bummed they took away Good Friday from us. Heathens!

Chickie- Oh i'm glad the boys are with y'all too. Fun! Last year I was so excited, hid Maddie's basket and the little shit went right to the hiding place. LOL

Jenie- It is so get to shopping. I think the dinner will be DELISH. Stacy can cook!

I think you should spend this weekend drinking, eating chocolate, and having unprovoked crying fits. Also jumping on the bed and watching professional wrestling while knitting condoms could be fun. Invite the neighbors over, unless you don't like them, in which case you should burn your name into their front lawn.

Stacy: Very cool move there!

Patti: I'll bet Maddie went to sleep thinking about Class! :D Enjoy being served and let us know how Stacy did (with the cooking!):D

I didn't realize that Easter was coming so early this year. I hate moving holidays. We should just pin a date on it and move on.

Early easter means early birthday presents for me & my sister. We always celebrate our b-days and easter together. It's the only time we are all at my parents.

Grant- Well you've got the drinking, eating chocolate, jumping on the bed and professional wrestling parts all down pat. Good job.

Michael- Will definitely let you know. She's so excited about her party!

Mike- I feel the SAME way. Thanskgiving is another one.

Katie-Well there ya go ONE good reason for early easter! LOL

We're seeing our friend's band on V-Day. I think I'm going to try and make cookies today... we'll see how successful I am at actually getting that done. ;-)

Have fun this weekend!

Ryan- Love u too *muah* I mean "bitch" in a loving way!

TMP- Oh i'll have a fabo week-end whether she does or not but if she doesn't one pissed off Auntie hehe..

Melissa- Go on you little domestic goddess you!

The years when Easter come in March just aren't right!! Who made up that silly plan with a date the follows the moon, anyway???

Mmmm, I wanna come for dinner!! That sounds good!

Lynilu- I agree, and if you lived closer you'd be MORE than welcome!

Lucky you Patti. I won't let my
hubby near my stove. The last time
I did he set it on fire. I take it
Stacy is grilling?

Hope you relax and enjoy the
weekend. I know I will. I get to
sleep in :D

Oh and the grandson...That is my
step-daughters boy. He calls me
'WE' along with my niece. I
love it! Thinking of changing my
name to that.

You and my SIL would get along so well - she just loves to decorate for all the holidays. Me - not so much. I do it for the kids, but I don't get into it like ya'll do. Your weekend sounds wonderful - I'm so excited and I'm not even the one going. Take care - Kellan

I hope you have a wonderful Valentines Day!!!

xoxo
Linda
