Friday!
Well i'm back here at work for one day before the week-end. The weather is craptastic and cold but hey... somehow it could be worse!
I am not one to wear dresses alot. I've got a few beachy ones I wear in the summer and for bathing suit cover-ups but you will never see me just say "Hey I think i'll wear a dress today for the hell of it". It's rare I find a dress I like much less love. Well here is the LBD (Little Black Dress for those who are fashion impaired *snicker*) I wore for our dinner out last Saturday night. The burnout velvet is very subtle so I can get away with wearing this year round because of the short sleeves and could add a jacket if necessary.

It's been awhile since i've had a SEXY dress but I LOVED this one upon sight. It is a dark red (the color looks sort of pink to me but that was my stellar photography skills). Not sure where i'll wear this one to but Stacy says I will so....... What do ya think?

Woo hoo! Sexy girl!

Cute dresses. I don't normally find a dress that looks good on me.

PS. Have a great weekend Patti!!!

Very fun dresses!

Shell- *Grin*

Daisy- Me either hence the not wearing them very often! You have a great one too!

Katie- Thanks!

Oooh! Those are both awesome. Very cute. I like dresses and want to wear them, I just usually feel so damn overdressed/uncomfortable/think I look like crap. lol

Enjoy your weekend, chica!

I'm not a dress kinda girl either...and The PK pisses and moans about it all the time. he wishes I'd wear more dresses...but I'd rather be in fli-flops!!!

I'm liking those dresses...and I LOVE the dark pink/red one! Woooo-wooooo! ;)

Duh. I meant fliP-flops.....not fli-flops.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOO glad it's Friday! ;)

I say go with a hot pink tutu and spiked heels. Accessorize with a bull whip.

I am SO not a dress person either but those are very cute. I likey.

Jenie- Yeah it has to make me feel okay in it otherwise... thanks - u too!

Stacy PQ- Thanks hon, I wear my rainbows (flip flops) with my beach dresses!

Grant- Rowwwwrrrrr!!!!! I like your way of thinking!

SFG- Thank you sweetie!

What I want to know is ... why didn't you model them for us? I think the red would look excellent on you, and I like the black one, too.

I actually like dresses/skirts in decent weather. I don't like cold air blowing up my skirt, but in the other 3 seasons, I don't mind the mellow breezes doing so! LOL!

I am a dress-wearing girl and I have to say I would wear both of those, I love them!!!

Just lovely. Can I borrow them? hehehe. I bought new shoes today...so stoked!

Love, love, LOVE your LBD!! It's seasonless, what a great find! I bet you looked like a million smackeroos!

Lynilu- I didn't have the camera when I wore the black one this past week-end.

Sandra- With your good taste that means alot (and believe me when I say the pictures don't do them justice at all)

Andie- Now I am on a shoe mission for them as well! Yay for your new shoes!

Melissa- Awwww thanks *blushes* I forgot to mention I got them both at 75% off of retail.

Hi patti
Hope you are ok. I cant always get on to your blog to leave a comment and have finally managed too !. Looks like maddison is having lots of fun x

Those are pretty dresses. I can't
wear one to save my life.
I really like the little black one.

Madison still feeling better?
Hope so.

HUGS!

(I am so behind...what's new?! lol)

Love love LOVE the dresses!!! I bet you look FABULOUS in them Dahhhling! :-)

Glad to see Madison is getting better. Poor precious baby. Hate to see sick kids. They're so defenseless and feel so bad for them.

I ate at Mellow Mushroom pizza when I went to Charleston a lonnng time ago for business. It was awesome!! Sounds like you had a great time! I can't wait to get down that way in June!!!

Have a great weekend!!!

OOh...I LOVE these!!! Gorgeous, girl!!

And, I know this has nothing to do with this post but I went and read your comment on Gary's post today. And so I commented on your comment and this what I said:

"And Patti...I really like your comment because my Christianity is very much a free-ing experience. I think that Christianity frees us to be ourselves and to have joy and fun in our life. Yes, there are things we shouldn't do (of course, I am against drinking in excess!), but Christianity isn't about only what we CAN'T do. In regards to alcohol, I ENJOY the taste of wine and some other drinks and I don't have a problem with drinking in moderation. If my moderate drinking ever became a problem and a hindrance to my faith, of course I would stop it!

I think that I am a strange dichotomy. I am a very strong, "born again" Christian, but I am also pretty liberal about a lot of social and political issues. No one can put a "tag" on me!! HA!!

For me, my faith is all about LOVE and how we treat other people in our life. I want my faith to always be opening to other people; I want it to welcome people, not draw a wedge between people."

Have a SUPER weekend!!!

Really cute dresses Patti!

I'm sorry your daughter hasn't been feeling good - I'm glad she's feeling better. Have a good weekend - Kellan

I like the pink dress the best. We need to see a pic of you in it!!!! WOOO WHOOO!!! I worked til 4pm today. First time in 6 years I stayed that late on a friday. :(

I love that pink dress..!!

As soon as it's springtime I'm going to be wearing dresses every chance I get. I'd definitely wear that cute red/pink one! :)

Oh Patti! I love the dresses! The pink one is HOT! You have to wear it! I am one of those people that are afraid of color. Most of my clothes are black, brown, grey, or white. Well, I wear alot of red too but that is just because I am a Georgia Bulldog! hehe! Hope you have a great weekend!

I never loved dresses until I got older. I LOVE them now. So very comfortable. I would wear that red dress just about anywhere!

No one ios going to miss seeing you in that Electric Pink one.
I get you look great in a dress. ;)

V. cute dresses! And can I just say that I LOVE how you say craptastic too!? :)

I broke down and bought the LBD at christmas for a company party, a wrap one, even went one step further out of my "comfort zone" and purchased black boots!!! it was a huge step because I did this shopping all on my own no help from anyone, I hate to shop but will go if my 19 year old daughter makes me, she was impressed with ole mom and didn't think I did it all on my own, hubby well he was pretty shocked, a low cut dress and boots to the knee with a huge heel, yeah he liked!!!! That pink one i'm going to steal from you, not really, I won't but I sure do love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too cute, next shopping trip to Charlotte pick me up, we live right outside of Charlotte, hubby's office is the exit after Carowinds, I'd love to meet you!!
