Quiet Week-End
Well I didn't drunk dial anybody. I didn't even drink anything alcoholic! I have to confess I went to the library after Stacy and Madison left Friday and got some books and my nose was in a book all Friday night and most of early Saturday. I read a scary book called "Summer of Night" by Dan Simmons. It was very good. My only complaint was (much like Stephen King's "It") stick to the scary ghosties & goblins, werewolves & witches & vampires. Don't bring some damn slugs & hell holes into the mix. The ending with the spider thingie totally RUINED "It" in my opinion.
I did go to the races Saturday night and took some FUG pics and my damn camera died so now it won't even charge on the dock/printer so I have to figure out of if I need to buy a new cartridge (which is the message the dock/printer is giving me) or if I need to buy a new battery. *sigh*
Oh my babygirl wore panties all week-end at her Grandma's and did so good. She's got panties on today. I told her if she has no accidents she will get a surprise when she gets home tonight (toy). If she has an accident we will just start over again tomorrow. I went and got the Bathtime For Kira toy that Casey at Dancing On The Edge reccomended. Madison loved it! Thanks Casey!
So tell me what did you do this week-end? Oh I also went to Lowes yesterday and bought the hubs a new lawnmower as part of his Fathers Day. I'm nice like that (hah!)

Sounds like a great weekend for you (except the camera thing...that sucks).

The PK and I spent all of Saturday at the beach...it was GORGEOUS outside and the water was so nice and blue and clean!

I sure di wish I didn't have to work today though...my ass is DRAGGING!!!

Friday after work (10 am) I went and loaded up the truck to mow lawns. It was 95 degrees out and I was sweating bullets. I got one done and called a couple of my other cuts to see if they wanted me to cut. Luckily they all said no. One even said that her hubby just retired and will be doing the lawn instead of me. I say good riddence they were a pain in the arse anyway.

Saturday went to one of Gerberas friends sons weddings. It was ok. Sunday got a call from the guy that I cut for on friday he wanted me to cut his catus that was growing all over a section of his yard. I did not cut it just incase he wanted it there. Then I went and cut this guys grandsons yard. Small yard but lotsa $$$.

I picked up my mom and we took her out to dinner and then went to a concert in the park. It was a Beatles band but they stunk big dookie. We left after about 40 minutes. Many others were leaving as well. This is way to long. Talk to you later. :)

Hello! :)

I will be regaling you later on my blog with all the fun (not) stuff that happened to me this weekend. But, it will have to wait since I have lots and lots of work to do. Blech. Coming back from vacation is not so fun.

Yay for Madison!! What a big girl! *crossing my fingers* that she'll make it all day and get her toy tonight!

Sounds like you might have some extra cash in your pocket soon! Damn diapers are expensive!

I just cleaned out the damn apartment getting ready for the move from hell.

I will accept the lawnmower with all the love that it was bought with. LOL :)

Congratulations to Madison. I hope she makes it through today so she can collect the new toy. What a milestone!

Manblogger pretty much covered our weekend. We were still trying to recover from vacation and the time difference. I think we are finally on Eastern time now.

A nice quiet weekend would be glorious!

YEAH MADISON!!!

Man- Wasn't too long! I enjoyed it!

Jenie- Anxiously awaiting your post. I really hope she does. I'm ready to be done with diapers!

Shell- They ARE expensive. Ooh the move from Hell. I do not envy you!

Denny- He had been belly-aching about one but was too cheap to to buy it so I did!

Gerbera- I bet it is a recovery period. I hope she does well too. I'm kinda on pins & needles. So silly

Dixie- It WAS. Fingers crossed she makes it and continues to do well.

Tough weekend. Kept busy with the landscaping project and picked up my teenager from the airport sunday. Great to have her back, and YEAH madison and YEAH for Mom those damn diapers will break the bank...I/O

Nothing real important. But YAY,MADISON!

I had a lot of fun with Bellie and then when she left for her week with him...I went on my date.

Good weekend. :-)

Sounds like yours was nice too...I wouldn't even know where to begin if I had to buy a lawnmower.

Michael- Thanks :)

Jenn- I didn't but I just went with "give me the one that has it all" ergo, the most expensive one!

Pat- You had a tough one, hon!

Yeah for the undies! We still put a pull up over the undies when we are in public.

Having them out of diapers is so very wonderful. Now you get to spend more $$ on clothes! :)

tommiea- i'm sure i'll be learning some new tricks with this!

Tammy- Yeah!!! As if I don't spend enough LOL

You know what I did girl - worked, church, then nothing.

Really if my life gets anymore pathetic I am going after my wrists with a Lady Bic.

Hi Patti-Cake !

Sounds like a nice weekend ! I love being curled up with a good book - and I agree with you, stick to ONE thing in a horror story - don't start adding a bunch of weirdness to the mix !

Madison is doing good with the toilet training ! Yeayyyy ! I like the reinforcement.

Heheh about the lawnmower. Men like new toys anyway, so.....

Hope you have a great week leading up to your Father's Day vacation !!!

Potty training! Great news! Now no more of those stinky diapers.

My weekend was good. Lori was here so I guess you know what we did. ;-)

Yay! I'm glad that Madison is enjoying her toy. Kaylen is still head over heels for hers. I have some cute pictures to post of her driving Kira around in a toy truck. Pretty funny. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed your weekend, too! Always nice for some alone time and reading is always a joy. :)

I don't read books. What's that like? I read magazines. Does that count for anything?

I had a lovely weekend at the orchard (yes again), it's my sanctuary. I woke Sunday morning to a right racket of birds singing, was FABULOUS! lol

And I suspect you can't access my blog because you haven't accepted the invite I sent you lol. It's still sitting waiting to be grabbed. (maybe it went to your spam/junk folder?) Let me know if you need me to resend it ok? :)
