Stacy and I went to see "Jennifer's Body". We enjoyed it and each others company. Before the movies we ate at the Mediterranean Grill and had delicious pizza made with beef, grilled chicken, shrimp and gorgonzola cheese.
Saturday morning we went to a few yardsales, did a little shopping.
Went to Home Depot and got some paint. What for? you say.
Well, my fabulous husband is enlarging our deck by adding a screened in porch to it. I bought some paint for the floor and trim - Charleston Green.
It's a very dark green, almost black. I'm going with southern traditional look. I am going to get a Pawleys Island Hammock for it also and a decorative white screened door.
Went to get Madison, she didn't want to come home so we let her stay again. Went home, couldn't decide what to do so we made some Uncle Ben's Rice and had some leftover BBQ from Boss Hogg's. Delicious-ness! Then we watch three back-to-back episodes of True Blood.
Got up Sunday and Stacy made scrambled eggs with cheese & ham and toast. I did my Spanish homework that takes me up to October 1st!
I went and got Madison & Brittany and took them to see "Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs". It was a very cute movie. It was also Madison's first time going to the movies and she enjoyed it very much.
Got home, watched the end of the Vikings/Lions game (Brett threw two touchdown passes - whoo hoo!), added potatoes to the ham & fresh stringbeans that were cooking and began watching the Steelers/Bears game. Go Steelers!
Had an early night and looking forward to a good week at work.
I think something I have been wanting may finally come to fruition this week. Let's just hope my new boss doesn't throw a monkey-wrench into things!

Did you see the movie in boring old 2D or the fantastic new 3D? 3D is so much better at taking your money. Seriously, the Disney digital 3D movies I've seen were highly unimpressive.
Sounds like you had a full and fun weekend--ALL Around! And I am in awe that your husband can create this enclosed area for you! How GREAT is that!
I feel very out of touch...this "meatball" movie...what is it?
That sounds like a full, fun weekend. And now I'm craving green beans, potatoes and ham! At 10 AM! Trouble maker!
Sounds like a really fun weekend. I think you deserved/needed it. Wow! Spanish homework done until October 1. You go, girl.
~hippo hugs~
What a great weekend. It all sounds so fun and relaxing. Much more so than mine.
MMMM!!! Green beans, ham and potatoes. Brings back memories for me. My mom used to make that. I'm like Lynilu...I'm now craving that.
How awesome that Stacy is building you a screened in porch. I have always wanted on. You will really enjoy it.
Here's hoping you have a great work week and everything falls into place with no monkey wrenchs or hissy fits.
I want to come eat at your house.
