We went to W*lmart in Hartsville which we "thought" would be less crowded. Ha!
It was a pure-tee mess when we got there, lines snaking throughout the store BUT I did get the B*by Alive learns to P*tty that Maddie wanted there, for the same price T*rget and K*ohls had it listed for (W-Mart didn't have it listed) so I got that. They had 500 thread count sheets for $20, those were long gone but my SIL got me a set as they were shopping in Charlotte (and did get up WAY earlier than we did). This is where net-working and cellphones come in real handy LOL
We then went to T*rget (no big deals there but we already had the doll we wanted) but we did get some Pepsi products 4/$10. Are you bored to tears yet?
We got lucky at T*ys-R-Us and got everything we wanted to there that was in the Ad. We had to stand in a hella line thought but it was very worth it.
We didn't have any serious FUG except for some little pierced/punked out EMO boys in girls pants but nothing like the knee socked/lime green guy of a few years ago.
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving (we did) and are gearing up for Christmas!

Better you then me...I slept till
about 8 Friday morning....I didn't
wanna move but my bladder had other
plans....
You should see the way some of the
kids at school dress...Yeah, the
boys are wearing girls jeans...One
boy is proud to say SIZE 1! I told
him that I haven't seen that size
in almost 10 years now :( Some
of the girls wear guys jeans...
One girl says they are cheaper
then girls and she found them at
Goodwill...
HUGS!!!!!!!!!!
Wasnt it just crazy fun? I'm finished now except for stocking stuffers!
Whoa! and I thought "I" was up and runnin' this morning!!
Now you've got me wanting to hi-tail it to WalMart for those sheets!!Wow!
I thought I was the ONLY one that checked the thread count before buying.
Cool.Great minds think alike,huh?
So is there still a stampede going on?
Oh my gosh...did u see where my sister in Germany left a comment(out of the blue!) on my blog!?
That shocked me!
I should be at WalMart now...not online!LOL
I didn't go this year.....I know you are in shock right.....Now I feel like something is missing....LOL
Glad you got everything you wanted.
Y'see, that's a phenomenon I will NEVER understand -- getting up at o-dark-thirty to fight throngs of people in a store with shelves in chaotic disarray only to find that what I'm looking for has sold out long ago.
Me?
I shopped in my underwear Friday morning, with the recliner reclined, a nice steaming hot cup of coffee on the end table, kitty curled up against my hip, fire in the fireplace, and no noise.
And I slept in!
I didn't leave the apartment the entire weekend. It was awesome.
me & mom went shopping hit the stores early thats not surprising is it? haha we also put up all the christmas stuff at my parents now that i'm back home i want 2 do my house maybe me and kadin can this weekend. i also got the most wanted christmas gift that kids want this year can u guess what it is? ill be posting about it later this week coz im gonna ebay it for some extra money. glad yall had a great thanksgiving!
We scored big here in Georgia, too! Loads of fun and my hubby and I ended up sleeping most of Friday. It's getting harder and harder to recover from adrenaline rushes the older we get. ha ha
No way I would even consider fighting the crowds on that day.
I avoided Black Friday. Gary and I did it one year and didn't find any deals that were that amazing.
But I'm proud because I've got almost all of my gifts bought! Yay!
You are a brave soul--I wouldn't even consider going to WallyWorld. I did make it to HomeDepot and a carpet store but that was all the shopping I did.
We got lucky and didn't have bad lines to wait in this year. Only waiting was on my friend who had to keep shopping the return carts!
You are far braver than me. I've just about wrapped up all my shopping online!
