In 2006 at Huntington Beach State Park. I could just kiss those sweet little knobby baby knees!!!!!

My Lord my girl is growing by leaps and bounds. She brings so much joy to my life. There are a million smiles Stacy and I've shared, delighted over something our little daughter has done. She is like a little sunbeam. I am so grateful for her.
I am kinda in a mellow mood this a.m. I actually had time to go Maddie's school with Stacy and meet Whitney the regular morning girl who was out sick when we both dropped her off on Monday. She seems really nice. She said she loves working there.
I am going to Charlotte with my sister this week-end and I am SO excited. Not as good as going away with Stacy but i'll take it. I love having something to look forward too!

Yeah, it makes the week So much better when you have nice plans for the weekend.
The PK and I are getting our taxes done Saturday. Whoooppeeeee.
Well, I guess it MAY be a good thing as long as we get some money back! :)
Cute pics...it's amazing how much she's grown!!!
Stacy PQ- It sure does, i've already done my taxes and should get some $ in my bank account this Friday. Yippee Skippy after paying a nice chunk o' change the past few years it's nice not to! She HAS grown hasn't she? *sniffle*
So you're going to have fun in Charlotte while I do homework is what I'm reading here. Fine. Go have fun but once I graduate I'm gonna do stuff that's gonna make you JEALOUS. Okay, probably not, but I can dream.
She went through a growth spurt the last year, didn't she?
Very cute pics. They grow so quickly. Have fun this weekend and good for you gettin some $$ back! Me to I plan on paying my car insurance off for the year.
Have fun this weekend. I get to work all weekend.
I wanna go to Charlotte!
Wave at my Mommy and Daddy while there...
Looking at those pictures makes me wish my kids were little again.
No. Not really.
I loved them when they were little but it is so much easier to deal with them now that they are almost all grown up.
I hope you enjoy your weekend.
Shell- Hey i'll be jealous that you're done with school and i'll be just starting (again) in the Fall!
Man- Yay for money back! Whoo hoo!
Daisy- Ick, no fun and no fair!
Cheeky- I wish you could and I sure will!!!
Mike- I get what you're saying. Boy do I get what you're saying LOL
Have fun!
It IS amazing, isn't it? How quickly they grow up? Just watch it...because before you realize it, she'll be in high school. This is how I feel almost daily, watching McKenna. Just crazy!
Katie- Plan on it!
Cheryl- I know, I just find it so hard to let go of my "baby"!
If you don't Crazy glue your eyes open they grow so fast between blinks you don't even see it.
I am sure once you get into shopping mode you will forget who you're with LOL
Isn't it truly amazing when you see photos taken just one year apart? They grow so fast - it's har dnot to get all sentimental about it.
She is darling - as always!
that first pic of maddie reminds be of a billboard shot from the 60s or 70s where this little black dog is pulling on the bathing suit bottom of this little blonde girl about maddie's age. it's for suntan lotion, i think.
yep, maddie should have been in commericials. not too late, ya know.
:)
maria
amazing, what a difference in just a year!
:)
Walker- I am sure i'll enjoy the trip - don't get me wrong! LOL
Casey- I always said "oh i'll never be one of THOSE weepy mothers." Yeah, me - who cried through both performances last Sat. night
ICSCN- You mean the Coppertone Commercials! Yeah I see it. If we lived in another location maybe...
Those years from 2-3 they change so much! Look at her big girl boogey board.
Have fun in Charlotte.
tommie- Yes they do, Thanks I plan on it! :)
You really do have a beautiful daughter. Those knobby knees are precious. Love Katie's shot of Maddie in the waves.
Enjoy you time with your sister in Charlotte. :)
Jessica- Thank you all the pics Katie took were AWESOME. I plan on it, girly time!
Patti: "She is like a little sunbeam". How true! She's SO fun and funny! And her personality comes through in every photo! I can hear her in her 20's saying: "I WAS a cutie, wasn't I?" But take heart, that's a long way off. Have a relaxing and fun visit, Patti!!!
Wow, what a difference a year makes! She's such a doll!
It's scary sad when they grow up.
You're scared to let them because
of the way things are. Yet, ya have
no say in the matter and that's
sad. She's a beautiful girl.
Hugs to her from me.
XOXOXOXOXO!
She is a little tiny doll baby!! Too cute.
I enjoy having something to look forward too also - I'm glad you do! Take care - Kellan
So so cute. I cannot believe my daughter will be 11 in a few months. Ahhh! I swear, it was yesterday when I took her photo at the beach like you have. Sigh.
holy cats! you're lil girl is way cute. and is that a boogie board she's got there? *wipes tear* it does my heart good to see a kid enjoy the surf.
have a blast in charlotte. let us know if you'll need bail money. oh wait, that's what people tell me.
have fun!
Michael- Thank You. I saw a t-shirt I need to get her that says "Little Miss Sunshine" on it!
Chickie- Yes I was shocked when I compared these two! Thank You :)
Laurie- Thank you so much for your (always) kind words
Kellan- It reminds me of the old Heinz Ketchup commercial "an-ti-ci-pation" LOL
Wendy- I'll be singing the same tune in no time!
Maidy- Yep she had a boogie board. I'll be with the straight arrow sis so no bail money needed.
What a difference a year (give or take) makes! She is such a darling little girl, and I'm not surprised that she is a delight for you and Stacy. You are certainly blessed in that one, Patti. :)
I know you know this, but I'm gonna say it anyway (what did you expect??) ... treasure every moment 'cause one day you'll roll over in bed and wonder where the last 30 years have gone. sighhhh.
I can't believe how fast kids grow...it makes me want to slow down and enjoy each moment with Sammy!
Bradley
The Egel Nest

Lynilu- It always bears repeating! She IS a blessing. We are so lucky
