I have been tagged by Lynilu who has changed the rules on the five weird things (which I,too, have done several times) and wants five things I never pictured myself doing at age 25 and also five places I want to visit before I die so without further ado....
Five things I never pictured myself doing at age 25:
1) Being Married, to Stacy no less. We had broken up a few years earlier and I wasn't even SPEAKING to him at that point! LOL
2) That I would within the next ten years lose over 100 lbs.
3) That I would ever have a broken bone and be wheelchair bound.
4) That I would ever be responsible with money (I sure wasn't in early twenties it was all spend~spend~spend and spend some more!)
5) That I would ever dye my hair blonde and have braces!
Five Places I want to visit before I die:
1) Great Britain, I so want to see England, Paris and also Ireland and Scotland if I can squeeze them in.
2) I want to spend Christmas in a cabin with a fireplace, somewhere it snows.
3) Canada (and NOT Niagara Falls which I saw as a child)
4) New York City - a whirlwhind shopping trip and see all of the tacky, touristy things. (does anyone notice a theme, tacky, touristy, with me???)
5) Someplace warm and tropical. I don't have a specific destination. Just someplace with a beach. The Carribean (St. Maarten or Martinique) would be nice. I don't want a cruise either I don't think. Flying there would be fine.
There you have it! I'm not tagging anyone but if you want to do it i'll be glad to come and read!

oh man! i know about having a wheelchair in your life. that must have been terrible! we can definitely make the new york thing happen, girlie!
:D
I don't even remember what I was doing at 25. Oh wait. There's a memory. So glad that age is over.
Oh I LOVE the new moniker!!! Yet another Queen in the realm of Blogdom!!! ;)
And you've gotta come down here and see the Keys...they're GORGEOUS!!! We can hit Margaritaville and sit in the sand barefooted while Madison makes sand castles and Stacy and The PK go fishing! ;)
I will go to the tacky touristy places with ya - hell lets drag Katie and Liz along too - can you imagine all the laughing we would do.....
When you get to your #4 place we'll have lunch. ;-)
I love tacky touristy places too! Good list...I hope you get to go visit all the places on it. I didn't see Minnesota on that list...can't believe Cheeky let that slide!
Tacky, touristy, I'm in!
25 was an odd age for me. I was not at all where I thought I'd be. Yeah, I'd rather not go back either. No thanks.
I'm in for any beach trip.
Great meme, loved your answers
OH OH I know someone in Canada, give me a minute to think.........
Dear, don't go to Paris GB go to Paris France, it's easier to find.
They have this big HUGE TV antennea in the middle of it.
I guess no one told them about cable.
Have a nice day and great year
ICSCN- Congrats on first for the New Year! I hope so, i'm dying to take a bite out of the big apple!
Shell- Oh I wouldn't go BACK for anything either!

Cheeky- OMG you said it, We'd have to pack an economy size thing of Depends cos' y'all trip me OUT!
Melissa- DEAL!
Wendy- I tried my best not to include any place a blogger bud lives to avoid, ahem, conflict but I definitely want to visit MN,IN,FL,LA,GA,PA,NM,OR,NV,WA and ALL of the places my blog buddies live! That would be the ULTIMATE dream!
Katie- Whoo hoo for tacky touristy! So.Much.Fun!
SFG- Amen sistah. Yeah the beach pretty much rocks!
Walker- I would DEFINITELY come to your part of Canada without a doubt! You are too funny!
I love the new look! All hail, The Monogram Queen!
i think i will pass on it patti but i did want to wish you a happy new year.
I went to St. Maarten a few years ago and I highly recommend it.
I did the cruise thing once. I didn't want to go, but I actually had a fantastic time and a rather large bar bill. If you do the 7 day Caribbean cruise, it is kind of nice because you get a chance to see a lot of places and then you can decide which one to go back to and which ones to avoid.
For instance, unless you like voodoo and getting accosted on the street by every toothless dope vendor known to man, I would avoid St. Lucia.
Ah...the perspective of age. If only we could do some of this stuff in reverse order - we'd be so much better prepared!
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your family!
The best place for a Christmas in
a cabin would be in Cuchara,Colorado.
They have a site that you can go to
and there are people who rent out
their places so others can enjoy.

We stayed at the SCOTT cabin back
last summer. It was GREAT!
Patti: Like a "New DO" you have a great new look to the site here. Stacy seems fun in your photos. I'm beginning to see how Maddie is developing such charisma!
Oooooh - well, you have obviously never been on a cruise to the Carribian with me - that is the only way to go!! I loved your list and I'm with you on the NY trip - I'd love to do that too. Happy New Year and I'll see you soon. Kellan
Hail!! Hail!!! Hail to the Monogram Queen!! LOL! I love it.
Thinking back on being 25. Man ... what a stupid girl I was!!
That was a cool meme, Patti ! It's interesting to see where you hadn't imagined you'd be...
On the places you want to visit, I'm with you on 1, 2 and 3 !
Patti-
Hail Queenie! lol. Luv it.
Um, do you have a monogrammed thong? or a potato peeler? Fly swatter? lol (trying to think of something you may not have monogrammed yet).
If you want to go somewhere beautiful in Canada that's not Niagara Falls - check out Banf National Park in the Canadian Rockies...My Hubby wants us to go there for holiday some year (He's Canadian and says it is gorgeous!)
From your prior posts, looks like y'all had a lovely Christmas and fun at the pig roast...Hope you have a wonderful New Year!!
Dang girl I like the way you think. While you're in NYC you'll def. have to go to Rupert G's deli from the Letterman show!
now just what the hell is wrong with niagra falls?..hehe
25 was a rough year for me!
I would love to do the tacky NYC things as well!!
If (nay, when!) you go to NYC... let me know... I know a few fun spots. ;)
