These two are super devoted to each other. As I mentioned yesterday she had a rough night so when we got home she undressed, grabbed my snowman throw and settled down for a nap. It didn't take Sneaky long to join the party!
I still didn't get to talk to Animal Control. He didn't call me (Caller ID) so I called back once I got home. I left a detailed message with the lady there. Hopefully we will have a chance to talk tomorrow. I told the lady I don't mean to be a pest or be ugly or whatever but this is a very serious situation and my three year old's safety is an issue. She agreed. Keep your fingers crossed that this doesn't get any worse before it gets better. Thank you all again for your kind comments and emotional support. It means alot.
Cheeky she got your card! How CUTE! But... she hid it before I could take a pic of it. I don't know WHAT it is about that kid hiding your cards but she does. Like it's stolen booty or something LOL

First Bishes!
I love that she steals the cards that I make for her (and you)! That is too funny.
One day you will find the stash when you are cleaning out the room LOL!
Cheeky- It cracks me up too and yep I will find her stash one day!
I'm really surprised they haven't already DONE something about that dog.
Love the fact she's stashing her booty! ;) Didn't we all have a secret hiding place for all our special stuff when we were kids??? :)
She looks so peaceful there with Sneaky right by her side. I swear animals know when you don't feel good.
That pic. is so cute!
I love that Sneaky follows her around. So sweet. That's love.
I can't believe that nothing has been done with regards to this "mauling". I mean, my goodness!!! Good thing nothing even more serious happened to Madison.
I truly hope everything works out. Keep us posted.
Awww...that's such a cute picture!
I hope that everything gets worked out soon! *fingers crossed*
I don't know what dealing with Animal Control is like in your part of the world, but it is a nightmare in my part of the world. They are just not very responsive at all. Not sure if it is under-staffing or laziness, but they are pathetic here in Michigan.
Hopefully they will address the situation soon.
Stacy PQ- Yes I guess we all did have our own "stash" place and "treasures". I know I did!
Daisy- I think they do too!
Katie- I thought so too and Mad was sure tickled with it when I showed it to her later on.
Melissa- You're right that IS love!
Dawn- I can't believe it either. Ridiculous.
Jenie- Thanks Honey crossing fingers.. eyes... legs...
Mike- It is beginning to look like a nightmare here as well.
that's too cute
What a great picture with Sneaky seen as protector.
I'm not quite understanding the neighbors - have they not come to speak with you, are you on good terms/bad terms, are they cooperative? They really should be bending over backwards now to accommodate you.
Dang, I wish I could sleep like that. She is just too adorable!
Good luck resolving the dog issue. That is a touchy/scary issue to have to face. But I totally agree with your reasoning. I would be the same way...probably worse actually.
Oh, and thanks for your comment. It made my day....so sweet.
What a lovely, loyal Sneaky!
The hiding things cracks me up. You know that she goes to her stash and touches everything when she thinks you're not around.
That picture makes me want a nap.
That picture is one of the sweetest I've ever seen. So tender.
I'm sorry it is being such a challenge to have action on this. Yes, animal control departments are notorious for not acting quickly or with decisiveness, but when a child is injured AND the dog is able to be loose, big red flags should go up! Stay on it!
Worry that your family has to endure this.
I think Madison hiding the cards is too funny! Maybe there is hidden candy in them!! LOL!
aaawwww! they looks so adorable, patti! i hope the nights get easier. and i hope you get some resolution with animal control SOON.
Christie- Thank you I think she's pretty cute too!
Steven- Sneaky is definitely her protector!
Sandra- They came over the day after and I really don't feel they are bending over anywhere to accomodate us we've alwys been on good terms though. their kids come in our yard, play on Madison's stuff all the time. Grrrrr......
andie- Thank you all the way around. I meant it, you know!
Chickie- OMG i'll have to install a spycam now to see! LOL
SFG- That kid can snooze with the best of them when she's tired.
Lynilu- You can bet heads will roll if ANYTHING else happens. God forbid!
ICSCN- Thanks honey or I might have to call in my bishes hmmmm???
Yes - it needs to be taken care of and immediately - I will cross my fingers and keep you in my prayers that they get on it!
I love that picture. I have a black cat and he snuggles every single night with Little Billy - they are buddies. That is a sweet picture!
Take care. Kellan
You keep on those damn animal control folk!
I'll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers!
She is too cute. I wish I could nap anywhere anytime!
Kellan- Thank You! We have two black cats Spooky & Sneaky. Love em
TigerYogiji- I will and THANKS!
tommie- Thank you! I know, wouldn't it be so nice?
Patti: I wish I could nap like that!:D
Michael- I know, the sleep of the innocent!
Her body guard looks just like my
cat Baby Girl.
If that dog gets out again and is
in your yard you can call 911 and
tell them that the dog is in your
yard.
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO! For Madison.
It looks like Sneaky is daring anyone to go near her, like Sneaky would kick some ass if necessary! Kids are so precious when they sleep.
hi patti
That is such a cute picture of your little girl with the cat. Looks like she is enjoying her box of goodies. In the uk here there have been some terrible dog attacks. I think you are being very reasonable and patient with the situation .(you are more patient than me !. Take care hugs to you both x Dominique
Oh, I love the pictures.. Sucha a cutiepie!
Patti,
The picture of Maddie and Sneaky is adorable. The again, EVERY PICTURE THAT KID TAKES SHE LOOKS ADORABLE :)
I can't believe Alex got out last night. Not good. No wonder she had nightmares. I hope animal control takes care of this. Your neighbors should have had better safeguards, especially after what happenned, and how decent you were about it.
The animal control people should be on the ball or hiring more people to stay on the ball.
There is no excuse for taking thisd long or you having to chase on after them.
Laurie- I will keep that in mind about calling 911. I love black cats!
Jessica- Sneaky IS a kick ass little cat LOL
Shabby Chic- I am doing my best but i'm about to lose patience.
Miss. Songbird- Thanks! :)
Loving Annie- Thanks for your kind words about Maddie :) We are waiting to catch them home so we can talk again. It needs to be done
Walker- Oh they have now told me I would have ot take it to the Magistrate !@#$%^&*(*&^%
I used to love it when my cats would curl up with Jayke, like they were protecting him. Very cute!
