Sometimes my kid is just too cute to be believed!

Random Brain Dump:
I spend way more time at work wishing I were away from it. It's not that I hate my job and I actually like the people I have the most contact with I just feel restless and very, very bored. Thankfully SFG and the hub keep my spirits up via email!
I wish my husband could get to know some of my blogging buddies by reading their blogs or comments. Honestly you guys are the greatest bunch and i'm afraid due to the past events he will never give you a fair chance.
I wish people didn't think that friends you make via the internet are somehow not "real". My internet friends show more interest and concern in my daily life than people I am related to and/have known for YEARS.
I am just feeling really really bitchy and negative this morning and I hate it. Hate.It.
The song "Waiting On A Friend" by the Rolling Stones keeps playing on a loop in my brain.
I wish I would get a nice surprise today.

Maddie is so funny!
I love that picture.
boo!
That's just a surprise, not necessarily a nice one.
What? Your husband doesn't spy on us all? My Boyfriend reads people who comment on mine a lot. He's said things to me about you and Cheeky and Arlene. He got mad at me and said he'd take Arlene on vacation with him instead of me! It's kind of disturbing that my little blog life runs into our relationship. :-)
Girl I'm leaving my work for Thursday and Friday and I can already tell that's just not enough.
You can email me at work! It's my firstname_lastname@abbreviate my company name to the first two letters dot com. Okay...you probably won't get that...I'll email ya.
I'm right there with you on "wishing I were away from work". I'm like that all the time anymore, it seems.
I'm also right there with you about the whole "friends" thing too. Amazing and kind of sad, isn't it? But you guys are WAY cooler than almost everyone I know anyway, so it's all good. :)
And I hope you get a nice surprise today...I REALLY do! :)
I'm totally real...just ask my husband...and my big rabbit, Harvey.
I'm wishing I wasn't about to go get ready and leave for work....Wish I could just stay home and relax! Tuesdays are so boring...
That pic of Maddie is adorable! :-)
My hubby reads all the comments on my blog...and reads the blog now and then (I suspect to see what I've said about him LOL...maybe) I don't know if he surfs over to other peoples' blogs...but he thinks of it as my "little hobby" and not sure he takes it seriously about the very real friendships that one can form from blogging.
Typical husband thing I guess.
Hope you have a fantastic day! That view at that bridge is so pretty!
Katie- Thanks. She's a clown!
Fish- Hearing from you is a VERY nice surprise my friend!
Shell- My brain was already reeling and nope I doubt if he does. I think it's neat that boyfriend reads about us!
Stacy PQ- I am so in agreement on the friends thing. Y'all are way better than anybody I know IRL!
KW- You my dear are a NUT! :)
Retro- Thanks and I hope you had a nice visit home!
very cute picture of Maddy.
I have only recently started blogging, but I know what you mean about "real" friends.
Sweety likes to spy on my goings-on in blogland. But he thinks it's really weird that I've met someone online. It kind of aggravated him that I wanted to take time from my "real life" to meet someone that I met online.
He got over it.
Its a support link I guess. I love talking to the people in blog land. One day i hope to meet a few of you...I/O
People you meet on the interenet are as real as they come...I should know, I married one!
Patti: Maddie is growing so much in just one year! I think if your hubby met some of us for a cup of coffee, it would make a difference than feeling like we were "strangers". Good song. Yesterday the "song stuck in my head" was James Brown's "Prisoner of Love" recorded live!
You know I know how you feel about the hubs not "getting it". Mine just rolls his eyes when I talk about doing stuff.....oh well...
Any who - SMILE!! Cause me and Katie are coming to see ya!!!!!!!
tommiea - Thanks :)
chickie- I'm afraid i'd have the same problem.
I/O - me too. I'd love to get to MN & TX and NOLA.
Wendy- True dat!
Michael- Then i'm not the only one with songs that get "stuck"
Cheeky- Yippee!!!!!!!! I'm so happy
Great picture of Madison.
Hope your spirits are lifted today.
As for the blog friends. I know for a fact that I would not have made it through the last 5 months without the help of all my wonderful blog friends. (you included!!!)
What past events would keep him from giving us a fair chance? What did we do??
Maddie is too friggin' cute! I just wanna pinch those cheeks!
Caroline - Amen, my friend. I'm glad we were here for you.
Dixie- Well a few weeks ago I blogged about his drinking but removed it. That got him real defensive and kinda down on my blog. Her cheeks wobble when she runs LOL
Ah, I wondered - I knew I missed something! That makes sense.
I really hope you get a nice surprise today too...it's 12:48, anything good yet?
I say we should have a bloggercon in Myrtle Beach. We could all get rooms and have a big party. Stacy would meet us then so we would not be just internet friends. We'd be RL friends. The people that blog are nicer then my real lifers in some cases. Patti have a great day!!!
Cya,
Manblogger
Sandra- Well, no not really but i'm optimistic! LOL
Man- That is a GREAT idea. Maybe in Oct or Nov? It's not too cold then and rooms are CHEAP. Any takers?
well patti cake i am very sorry that you feel bad. at least you have a lot of people replying to your blog and thats good. you always have such great photos on your site. well i hope you feel better tomorrow.
i finally got my dsl working about half way and i am still tweaking and experimenting with it some. almost any thing is better than my old dial up . most of the time my wife thinks it is working fine unless i tell her it isn't. i know how to take a speed test on it though so that is probably why. well have a good one.
nice blog
I know what ya mean about some of your internet friends are nicer than real life friends. Can I include family members in that as well?
I'm actually a 400-lb man. Please don't tell anyone.
Non bloggers don't understand, do they. Their loss. :)

My obf(oxygen breathing friends) are much to busy tending to their over scheduled, hectic lives to really listen anymore. I find my cwf's(cyber world friends) are here for much the same reason and I feel more connected to my cwf's than obf's. Don't know if that is a sad state to be in, but it works for me.
Soundslike someone needs time at the spa. :)
Its hard to make people whpo don't use the internet like many of us do to see us a real but real we are and I have traveled to meet other bloggers and people i have met on line.
In fact if I am ever in your neck of the woods just give me their address and i would be more than happy to stop over at give them a not real slap in the back of the head LOL
I've made some really close friends online, it's hard to explain but I know what you mean...
you sure got a cute kid there ;)
Amazing, isn't it, how close one can feel to blogging friends we've never met? I love it!
My what big lips she has ;)
MrH- I always check your site. I can't always see the videos but I enjoy what I can. Congrats on the DSL. I love mine!
PYBF- Thanks
Gerbera- Why yes you certainly can honey. I agree!
Kami- LOL you're secret is SAFE with me!
Shephard- So true~So true!
oliveoyl64- I'm in the same sad state then! Thanks for commenting
Walker- Will do!
Lee- Awww thanks.
Lynilu- I do too and I feel SO blessed!
PTwinkie- Tee hee!
The entire corporate group of "crying cow" banks fell on me the other day when I realized, finally, what "crying cow" meant.
Hey, I'm slow, what can I say!?!
LOL!
Um, does hubs not realize that we all have big boobies? I mean, hello.
Now look, Mr. Patticake. We are nice peeps. My hubs does not get the blog thing either so you are not alone. But I have now met 3 of the internets in person and only one tried to steal my dog. The other two were totally normal. :)
How right you are - the line between "real life" friends and "internet" friends is not as clear as some like to think. I know the internet has been a real life-saver for my stay-at-home wife/mother-of-our-chldren.
Also, some of our very best "real life" friends, started as internet friends. With today's technology, the distinction is a manufactured one.
OH - sometimes is is nice to keep your lives separate. I think Casey likes that I don't know a lot of her internet friends. That way, she can gripe about me when she needs to, and they don't have to feel that they are betraying me by being supportive of her side :)
Hope by today, you are feeling in a better frame of mind.
