Too Salty for my Own Good

Well I don't think Maddie and I will be going anywhere over the week-end. I just don't feel comfortable going to the Beach alone with her and can't find anyone to go with me. I bought her a new pool last night (with a built in slide & sprinkler) and we are going to the races Saturday night (Please let me NOT forget my camera). She will be in the pits with my sister and get to ride around in the golf cart all evening so she will be happy. I can sit with my friends in the stands and be bitchy and FUG people hehe... so i'll be happy. Oh and yep I do have a few IRL friends but I only see them at the RaceTrack. You blog friends stil RULE ;)

We were SUPPOSED to go to the beach tomorrow but that storm is supposed to hit us tonight into tomorrow so I doubt we'll go. Honestly, I hope it POURS here...we need the rain SO bad!!! (But if I were closer to you, I'd go with you! :)
Yeah, if I was there, I would definitely drop everything and go to the beach with you!
And girl! I so had a FUG last night! But, I was too chicken to pull out the camera! lol

Ahhhh fishing at the Santee. My dad came super close to buying a place down there just for that very reason.
And too bad I will be in NC the following weekend cause I would totally ditch the family and drive down to the beach with ya...hehe.
The races will be fun! I miss going. There is a little track here in Shakopee and its ok but nothing like watching it down south.
Might need to make that a waterproof disposable camera, Patti! Loved the bit about Maddie and the golf-cart. She'll have fun too! :)

Monica- We must have been posting at the same time. I love stock car racing. Dad & Grandfather did it as does Hubs. We just don't have our car ready yet this year because his owner has had to go down to FL quite a bith to take care of his ill mother. Oh well I don't get quite so "emotionally invested" if it's not the hub racing.hehe.... (i.e. show my ass)

Gotta admit, I am clueless here -- why was your remark passive aggressive ? Do you hate him going fishing ? Or is it just that he is so connected to his Mom ?

I like golf carts too. Especially when they have beer or other adult beverages in them.

I forgot to tell Cheeky but hey...I am so up for renting a beach house and having a good time there. September might be a prob for me since school would have started back up.
You'll have fun this weekend. Sometimes it's good to have fun without the man around (I do it all the time and it's GREAT!).
