It feels really weird not posting a picture....well this combination of training/meetings is killing me. I am not one who likes to dress up and sit still/pay attention for long periods of time. It is KILLING me. It is kinda rainy tonight so i'm not going anywhere, just hanging around the Hotel and have a few drinks in a while. I'm hoping to go to the Powatawatamie (or something close to that spelling) Casino tomorrow night. We'll see. I'm looking forward to the week-end when I can r-e-l-a-x. Did I mention the meetings are killing me? LOL I know, shut it you whiner. You are making good money so just SHUT IT. I'm off to visit a few blogs now. Hasta La Vista my blog buds.
UPDATE**** I am just really really depressed tonight. The group i'm with are a bunch of wet blankets and complainers. Ugh. I can't like that at all. Now they don't want to take our planned trip to Chicago Saturday. I'm contemplating going alone but that's not really the smartest course of action. I know i'm not here to have "fun", per se but I did want to get out and about and try to have fun in my downtime. Not really happening and i'm just feeling really frustrated and bitchy tonight. I don't like myself :(

Training is exhausting. But it's so necessary. I mean where would we all be without training?

((hugs)) Patti. I know you are probably not having the best time, but just think of the time off you will have once you are back home. I hate going to meetings where all there is is complaining and my meetings don't mean having to go somewhere with them for a week. Hang in there.
Just thought I would let you know since I don't know if you are able to read blogs..but I was told today that my position at my work is being eliminated Jan.15. Means no job for me. I guess I have some time off to look forward to and unemployment.
Ohh maybe they will change their minds - perhaps today's weather has got them down. Chicago eh??? Hmmmmm....thinking thinking - wonder what I am doing this weekend?????
OH and as far as your FABULOUS gifts under the tree??? I am way to busy enjoying them. I have hung the stocking in my office! So turn that frown upside down...
Dang!! I just had a thought (and they happen so rarely) - if they do blow off Chicago - then come to MN and the MALL OF AMERICA with me!! We haven't been to see it all decorated up yet.....not sure where in the land of snow and cheese you are but its a thought.........
Training can make you very exhausted and drained. Shame those folks have to be blah wet blankets -- I always like some fun, humor to get thru training and work trips..They need to get with the program!
The weather in Chicago is warmer this week and supposed to be 50 degrees Saturday - just some scattered showers..but that could change between now and then. Tell them about the Garretts Popcorn...and there's the Merchandise Mart downtown....Filene's Basement...so many great places to go/things to do....Maybe they'll give in?! I have to work Saturday or I'd say come meet me & Mr Hottie....(Darn it all! I bailed the Saturday of our snowstorm so I can't get outta work this weekend...)

Hey, we are all allowed to have crappy nights. You will feel better after the trip. The dipwads you are with surely arenot helping. Boring peeps suck.
Work sucks as it is but when the rest of the group suck they tend to drag you down to.
Find one person with some life in them and have a good time when you are free from the chains of work
