Blogger is once again being a HAB and won't let me post any pics so i'll just ramble on. I had a nice peaceful week-end. Stac & Maddie went to Summerville and I stayed home.
I went shopping with my sister on Saturday and man were the stores PACKED. It wasn't even tax-free week-end (that's this coming week-end). Good for the economy I guess. I sure did my share. Well, tell me what YOU did this week-end. :)
P.S. Did anybody else hear about Mel Gibson's arrest for drunk driving? He was pretty abusive to the officers involved. Wow. Not too cool.
We shopped too - in Gurnee IL and it was mass packed...They even had an ice skating rink in there, with signs "Skate Free when temps 90 or higher" - it was crowded.
What is it with MIL's? My ex-MIL was just like Wilma Flinstone's mom..lol...very nasty and critical. My present one slips you the non-chalant digs, and hints around alot...and talks in this baby voice to my hubby (her son)...it's creepy!!!
The whole Mel Gibson thing is just weird and unusual...
No, didn't hear about Mel....but then again.....I was too busy trying to keep my hands away from my face...aacckkk!!

Yes, I heard about Mel. Personally, I've always thought he was an pompous ass...this just proves it. Just my opinion....
My weekend was pretty uneventful...watched a few movies and just hung out at Palace Peanut.
And I did hear about Mel...it kinda made me sad because I have really LOVED his movies...plus he's nice eye candy....but to be SUCH AN ASS because of what he is....well, that's just too bad.
I don't need much excuse to go shopping.Hope you got some good things.
I hope hubby defends you. Too many men just let things slide because they don't want to hurt momma. Good luck on that!!

I went to the mall this weekend too. It was crazy! I'm not going anywhere near it this tax free weekend.
