They're Here!
Sneaky had her kittens on Monday Night. Since I already had written that post before I even knew it was imminent... well let's just say I didn't realize it would be THIS quick that i'd be a Grandma!

We were sitting on the front porch and Sneaky was laying with us. She kept going to the front door and meowing to go in.

Me: "No, Sneaky you are not going in the house because I don't feel like chasing you all around to get you back out".

Still she kept at it.

We went inside and then Dalton (friend's son) goes "Miss Patti - Madison let that cat in and she ran behind your big Curio Cabinet".

Me: *insert cussword of your choice*

So I huffed and pulled the big hulk out and got her out of there. I petted her awhile to make up to her and when I put her down realized my hands were wet.

Stacy said "I think her water broke".
(I don't know why the rest of the post is in blue)
Me: "Ya think so?"

Stacy: "Yeah, she's panting a LOT like you were when you were in labor with Madison, that sure was funny!".

Me: *Death Stare* "It sure was NOT funny. Now where can we put her to have those kittens?".

He ended up making a big box with a blanket in it in his Shop. She ended up moving into Madison's Playhouse and having them in a corner. She had FOUR (Lynilu!) but sadly two died. I hope the other two make it.

** Also I am currently trying to decide if Stacy and I go to Savannah the end of September (since October is always so busy for us) should we stay downtown (like we always have) or out at Tybee Island. It'll be a Bed & Breakfast either way. Decisions.. Decisions....

Congrats....! Do you want to be called Granny, Gramma, Papa <----what my kids call my MOM of all things!

The weekend sounds great whatever you decide.

Awww....glad it's over for Sneaky but sorry to hear she lost two babies!

Hey, as long as you get to go, right?

Oh and I tagged you today...:)

Tommie- Um I think due to my "youth" (STOP laughing people) I want to be called "Gi Gi"

Stacy PQ- She didn't seem too traumatized. They are darling. Okay off to check out my TAG!!!

Oh the poor baby :(
I will pray for the two others to
survive. It would be devistating to
her if they all passed.

HUGS!!!!!! To the whole family!!

Congrats Granny!

Girl...I love Savannah...take us, take us...that's a tough decision...I'll have to think on it, you can't go wrong with either one that's for sure:)

I can't wait to see pics!

They never go for the box with the blanket, so the trick is to set that up wherever you want the cat to avoid. I suggest the silverware drawer or TV set.

Laurie- Thank you, they seem to be doing well! They sure are cute

Bella- Wish I could take some!

Grant- Good advice because you are so right!

Sorry to hear about the two little babies...*sad* Hope the momma and the others are doing okay...

Ohhh! I hope you two get to go to Savannah!! (Jealous!) I know you all will have a wonderful time. I'd give anything if I could trade our Oct Canada visit for Savannah instead! :-)

Retro Girl- I think they will be okay. I am trying not to think about the two that didn't make it :( I'd love to go to Canada too though!!!!

I hope those 2 kitties, Live 'grandma' Patti :) Awww, I bet they are adorable with their little eyes shut and ears flat and so tiny...

And no, stacy's remark wasn't funny at all. Pehaps he should give birth and then you can inform him of how amusing you found it. Meh. Men !

As to where to stay - oh my, pick the place where they will pamper you the most !

Congratulations. I've always wanted a basket full of purring kittens, so you must remember to take advantage of early cuteness and do a photo-shoot (!!)

I have to settle for roborovskis that just like to dash around panicking and bite me..!

OH*WOW!!! What I would give to have a trip to Savannah. I have never been there but would LOVE to go! I am SSSOOOO envious! Being that I have never been, I would stay in town, Savannah. But you guys have been there before so Tybee Island might be a nice switch.

Sorry to hear the two baby kitties died. I am hoping Sneaky is a good mommy and the other two do very well.

And an FYI to Stacy...BEING IN LABOR IS NOT FUNNY!!!! You should ask him if he'd like to try being in labor. Then we can debate whether or not how "funny" it is.

Awwwwww! Congratulations, Grandma!

I don't mean this to sound harsh but maybe that was nature's way of taking care of things - you DID have homes for two, and any more might have been a dilemma? I hope the you post photos soon! Nothing cuter than kittehs....

Dang that was QUICK. I can't wait to see them. Hello Memaw...hahahaha

Hmmmm...Savannah or Tybee? What a tough decision! lol Either way you'll have a fantastic time (I'm a tad bit jealous!)

Okay, should I address you as Grandma, or Snakewoman! LOL! I haven't overcome my dreadful fear of snakes, so I don't think I will be pairing up with Robin to save anything! LOL! Ah, and you are planning a trip to Savannah! I'm jealous! Lucky you! That was my honeymoon destination. I also have a "Savannah Ashley", who was born 9 months after my honeymoon! Husband says it was a good thing we didn't honeymoon in Myrtle Beach or some other place with a really terrible name! LOLOL!

~Rhonda :)

Aww baby kittens are always so cute! And...I LOVE Tybee Island! Very romantic!

Grandma Patti! MEOW!!!

How exciting for Madison! :) Picking out a kitty. I'm sure she will have some cute input for you and Stacy!

Bed and Breakfast SO rocks, Patti! If you've stayed downtown, I'd lean toward the island. Depends what you guys are looking for in the way of fun! lol!!!

Loving Annie- Thank you they are doing fine so far! So cute! I agree - men - meh sometimes!

Gledwood- I will definitely share some pics eventually. Your robo BITE you?!!! Oh dear! I'm sure those tiny teeth do hurt though.

Daisy- I love love love Savannah. I hope you get to go someday. You would love it. If men had babies the human race would be extinct!

Casey- Thank You!

Sandra- I agree but we both know I would have ended up keeping any I couldn't find what I deemed a decent home *wink*

Andie- Oh no Memaw is my older sister. I always picture Memaws as wearing a sunbonnet hehe....

Cheryl- I know, decisions... decisions...!

Rhonda- That is so funny because Madison was conceived in Savannah also and if I hadn't had her name firmly picked out she, too would have been "Savannah". So cool!

Kristy- They are precious!!! Tybee rocks. LOVE The Crab Shack "where the elite eat in their barefeet"!!!

Michael- She is totally enchanted by them. Y'all will know when I make up my mind!

MJ

I hope the two make it. I love little kittens.

Congrats Granny on the two new members. To bad two had to die,
So, who do they look like more, you or Stacy?

Awwww. little kitties in the house!! I'm sorry two didn't make it. :'( It is so much fun to have babies in the house, kitties, puppies, or humanies!!

Congratulations, Granny!!

MJ- they were doing okay this morning!

Walker- Um, Stacy for reasons I won't get into on here!

Lynilu- Thank you, it is I can't wait until they are bigger!

Hi Grandma!

Glad Sneaky had her babies but so sorry that two didn't make it. Guess you already have homes for them from what you said. All of my 33 are fixed! That's what was happening in my neighborhood...they were multiplying faster than I could trap them, or so it seemed! But I finally got them all caught and fixed!!! And now they are all inside living with me! Hated to see them outside in this horrible heat and they would just get hit by a car anyhow. And I knew that would kill me!!! Plus, I spent a lot of $$$ getting them all fixed and tested and shots, etc., etc.
And now I love 'em all!!!

(((((( HUGS ))))))

yes congratulations on your grandcats, and so sad the other two didnt make it, that must have been so sad.
